Community Guidelines
Draft version: 2026-09-28
Make room for people
Be respectful even when you disagree. Do not engage in targeted harassment, threats, stalking, coordinated abuse or attempts to drive someone out of a community. Do not encourage others to harm themselves or anyone else.
No hate or exploitation
Do not promote violence or hatred against people based on protected characteristics. Sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material and any sexualization of minors are prohibited. Do not share content that facilitates trafficking, coercion or abuse. Report suspected child exploitation immediately; do not download or redistribute it.
Protect privacy
Do not publish another person's private information, addresses, credentials, private messages or intimate images without appropriate permission. Do not threaten to expose private information. Obtain permission when sharing identifiable people in images where required.
Be authentic
Do not impersonate creators, other users, staff or organizations. A fan profile must not mislead people about who operates it. Do not run scams, fraudulent giveaways, phishing schemes or manipulate follows, polls, discovery or analytics.
Keep the service safe
Do not post malware, malicious links, spam or instructions intended to compromise accounts or the service. Do not evade bans, abuse reporting tools or coordinate platform manipulation. Do not publish or facilitate illegal content, credible violent threats or criminal exploitation.
Respect creators and communities
Only share content you have permission to use. Follow reasonable additional rules set by a creator. A creator's rules cannot override these global guidelines or disable reporting. Moderators must use their powers fairly and only within their authorized community.
Report, block and get help
Use Report beside a post, comment, image, user or chat message to send it to the moderation team. Choose the closest reason and provide useful context. Use Block to stop seeing someone's interactions. Support requests and content reports are separate so each reaches the right review process.
If someone faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services. StreamFan is not an emergency response service.
How enforcement works
Depending on severity and context, responses can include removal, warnings, timeouts, feature restrictions, suspension or account bans. Serious harm may require urgent action or referral to competent authorities. Relevant actions are recorded for accountability.
You can request review of a moderation decision through Support. Include the affected account or content and explain what you believe was misunderstood. Do not harass reviewers or create new accounts to bypass restrictions.
